Welcome to Our Kitchen
Welcome to our Kitchen! We're the Strouds. Although my husband doesn't cook, Bill has been the inspiration behind these recipes. It all began when I became a stay-at-home after our oldest son Harrison was born. That was 10 years ago. Because we were on 1 income and had a very limited budget, I had to get creative with our meals. My husband kept encouraging me to write the recipes down. This blog is my attempt to share these recipes with the hopes that they might be helpful to other families.
The name of the blog comes from the great memories I've had cooking in the kitchen with both Harrison and our youngest Noelle-Marie. When it's possible I try to include them and it can be a lot of fun. I am now a working mom so I don't have as much time to create new recipes. But cooking time with my children is quality time that I look forward to after a long day at work.
I plan to post 2 new recipes each week.
The recipes are simple and delicious. Have fun in the kitchen!
Enjoy!
